Posing to flatter anyone – Lindsay Adler
It is our job to flatter every subject that steps in front of our lens by showcasing their strengths. When photographing the everyday person instead of models, however, we will often be asked to photograph and flatter more challenging features. Challenging does not mean “bad”, but instead that you must understand the photographic tools available to you to help their best-side shine. These features could be a pronounced nose, large forehead, large chin, glasses, round face, double chin, asymmetrical features, bald head, defined wrinkles and more. It is imperative when you photograph them that you are able to do so with confidence! This course will cover many challenging features and show you how posing, camera angle, lens choice, lighting and photoshop work together for successful imagery

Be taken on a journey of creative intrigue with her effective methods. Often simple ideas, but complex in construction. Forget automation – this is all manual, from technical to technique. And leave your pre-disposed ideas on what a photograph is, at the door.
